Elementary Principal

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Elementary Principal serves as the educational leader and chief administrator, fostering a safe, collaborative, and high-achieving environment for students (Grades K-5) and staff. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in instructional leadership, social-emotional learning, and community engagement. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field.

  • Valid State Administrative Certificate/License.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience.

  • Proven experience as an Assistant Principal or school leadership role. 

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement data-driven instruction to increase student achievement, ensuring curriculum aligns with state standards.

  • Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate licensed and support staff; provide constructive feedback and professional development.

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive environment, managing student behavior and ensuring school safety protocols are implemented.

  • Manage school budgets, scheduling, and facility operations.

  •  Act as the face of the school, cultivating strong relationships with families, community stakeholders, and the Board. 

  • Other duties as assigned
